The Church has one job - make disciples of Jesus Christ.  The following workshops will help you acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to develop a discipleship pathway, more effectively fulfill the mission of the Church & lead your congregation on the most exciting adventure of their lives!

 

DYE Express

DYE Express is a brief overview of the spiritual growth principles of the ocean diagram and the discipling process of the discipleship pathway.  This workshop is perfect for a plenary presentation or it can be expanded to 2-3 hour event designed to provide a new perspective of intentional discipleship in the local church.

 

Deepening Your Effectiveness Foundational Workshop

This workshop offers a more in depth look at the ocean diagram and discipleship pathway.  It will equip pastors and church leaders in three significant ways:

  • By providing a biblical understanding of how people develop spiritually from unchurched to fully committed follower of Jesus.
  • By equipping them to critically think about and objectively assess their existing discipleship ministries.
  • By establishing objectives, criteria and measurements of effectiveness for the development of ministries that create transforming encounters with God.

The DYE Foundational Workshop is a full day event that can be combined with Developing Core Principles for a two-day training opportunity.


Developing Core Principles

Traveling the discipleship pathway can lead to becoming a fully committed follower of Jesus...but what does a fully committed follower look like?  Your congregation needs a clear picture of the destination if they are going to move forward.  This workshop will lead you through a process of identifying core principles - those deeply held commitments that drive the behavior of mature Christ-followers.  It's the first step in creating an effective, intentional discipleship pathway.  Developing Core Principles involves and overnight assignment for lead pastors and is ideal for an evening/morning event or a two-day event when combined with the DYE Foundational Workshop.

 

Designing Come & See Worship

Worship worth coming and seeing is culturally relevant and meaningful to people at all stages of spiritual development.  Designing Come & See Worship will provide greater understanding of the key components of worship and how to combine them into a powerful experiences.  This 1-day workshop will also equip you to recruit, develop and launch an effective worship design team.  Combine this with Extended High Impact Hospitality for a power-packed 2-day event.

First-time guests decide if they are going to return to your church in the first 7 to 10 minutes of their arrival  This 1-day workshop sheds light on the do's and don'ts of radical hospitality, prepares you to make a critical assessment of your first impression ministries, and launches you toward creating truly memorable experiences that can help move first-time guests into the life of your congregation.  Combine this with Designing Come & See Worship for a power-packed 2-day event.

 

Connecting People to Your Pathway

Movement is critical to the effectiveness of your pathway.  Connecting People to Your Pathway is a 1-day event that focuses on three critical areas of assimilation:

  • Bringing new people into your church
  • Following up with first time guests and new attendees
  • Moving regular attendees out of the pew, onto the pathway and forward on their spiritual journeys



Out of the Comfort Zone: Developing Transformational Opportunities / Launching & Sustaining Life-Changing Small Groups

Learning opportunities and small groups are the most often overlooked components of discipleship and yet they are critical to the process of life transformation.  Day one of this 2-day workshop will equip you to design effective core and elective learning opportunities that will help the people of your church exchange their cultural worldviews for Christian worldviews.  Day two will provide an easy to follow step-by-step process for launching and sustaining life-changing small groups.

 

Go & See: Moving through Fear to Transformation

There is a fear barrier along the spiritual journey that can stop people from living out their God-dreams.  This 1-day event will give you new insights into the causes and manifestations of fear and what it takes to equip people to courageously move through the fear barrier into the deep water of God's calling.
